Amazon Project

A tribute to the Amazon: its past, present, and future. Drawing on the rich historical iconography of the forest's fauna, flora, and native peoples, the series combines collage, geometry, and texture in compositions about interdependence, technology, the bioeconomy, and the symbiotic relationship between humanity and nature.

Its eight compositions reflect on the crisis that the Amazon, and above all its Indigenous peoples, have faced in recent decades, and on the role of technology, society, and the world in relation to the planet's great source of biodiversity.
