Founded in 2014, Spacetime Labs is a Brazilian venture builder that combines frontier science, artificial intelligence, and robotics to transform the physical industries: those responsible for food, energy, critical minerals, materials, and water. Brazil is its innovation lab; the world, its scale.

Its roots go back to the Planetary Skin Institute, a Silicon Valley R&D organization its founders co-founded with NASA in 2009. Today, Spacetime Labs builds Causal World Models: AI that observes complex physical systems, understands why they behave as they do, acts on them, and learns from every outcome. Ideas are incubated for three to five years, from loonshot to prototype, validation, venture, and scale.

Its work is guided by four transformations: hyper-productivity, deep decarbonization, climate resilience, and a computational bioeconomy that draws on the biological intelligence of the Tropics.

From this lab, ventures are born: Moray, for autonomous per-plant farming; Ubiratã, digital twins for material-intensive industries; ItaDT, intelligence for critical mineral exploration; Ripples, for climate risk; and KAA Biosciences, which designs new proteins from tropical biodiversity. The identity grew into a system that holds them together: a shared visual logic within which each venture finds its own voice.

The visual expression draws on Zygmunt Bauman's idea of liquid modernity: fluid, transitory elements that combine, transform, and evolve, expanding their possibilities and the quality of their relationships. Vibrant, technological colors move within sober information containers, stitched together by technical graphics in dialogue with science and engineering.
